Here She Is

We are thrilled to introduce the baby girl we hope will be our daughter!

We were “matched” on Monday afternoon with a beautiful, 8 month old baby girl. Everything is going well, we of course have many more hoops to jump through, but at this point things look good. We now have about another 2 weeks of “bonding” time, after which we will set a court date here in the Ust region.

Her given name is Anastasia, at this point we think we will keep her name and call her Ana. Just today she weighed in at a very healthy 17.75 pounds and she is rolling over. The boys had a great time meeting her today and were very sweet.

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts & prayers! Internet connections here are a little spotty, but we'll do our best to keep everyone posted.

Love,

Dan, Allison, Matthew & Joseph

SHE IS INDEED PERFECT FOR YOUR FAMILY!! Needless to say, we are thrilled for you. We know that everything is going to work out just great for your entire family. We cannot wait to get there to cheer you on in person. The time will start to fly by for you, and we know you will enjoy every second of your bonding as you all become a family. Huge virtual hugs until we get there in person to hug you for real.

SHE IS ADORABLE!

She is beautiful! Congratulations. I'm sooo happy for you all. She is a perfect match. I'm sure you fell in love the moment you saw her. Enjoy your time together. I know everything will go smoothly now and before you know it you will be one big happy family in Milwaukee. I know you can't wait for that.
Give the boys, and Ana, a big hug and kiss for me and tell them I miss them as I do you. Keep in touch. Be safe. Love you all, Aunt Linda

What a beautiful girl Ana is and a beautiful name! She certainly looks like a perfect fit with your family. I'm so thrilled for you. Now enjoy your bonding time - it will be priceless.

P.S. Yesterday the adoption was finalized and we gained custody of our boy, Miras. We will be heading to Almaty on Friday. I hope the nice and cool Summer weather holds for you as we had a few days around 100 early in the trip. Though overall, the weather in the north reminds me a bit of weather in the midwest - some warm/hot days followed by a cool front - but with a lot less rain!

She is beautiful! Happy Bonding time! Eat a great meal with Karen and Glenn for me. We are anxiously awaiting their trip back to Ust and then back to Cinci with Zak! We are "state neighbors" and blog friends! Your boys are adorable with their new sister! So hppy for you! Ky Karen

Greetings Dan, Allison, Joe and Matty!

Congratulations! Little Ana is adorable! We are praying that everything falls in place from here forward without too much (additional) red tape or delay. How exciting to be able to finally hold and hug the little girl that will soon be your daughter / sister!
